The SIGMA Classic+ pan base is a multilayered „sandwich“ base, which helps to save energy: Its aluminum core stores the heat and keeps the pan warm for a long time, which means that the power supply can be turned down sooner. The rightangled capsule of the aluminum core distributes the heat right to the side walls of the pan, ensuring that the contents of the pan are heated effectively even with the hob turned down low.
