Die Geschichte der Marke
Alles begann am 13. Juni 1731 in Solingen:
Ein kleiner Handwerksbetrieb lässt die Marke ZWILLING in die Messermacherrolle der damals kleinen Stadt eintragen. Weil die Sterne im Zeichen des Zwillings stehen, steht für Peter Henckels der Name fest: ZWILLING. Und die Sterne standen günstig für den Messermacher.
