Miyabi 5000 FCD Nakiri

Das Nakiri-Messer von MIYABI aus der Serie 5000 FCD macht selbst einfache Küchentätigkeiten, wie das Schälen und Schneiden von Obst und Gemüse zu einem optischen Erlebnis. Denn die 17 cm lange Klinge, deren Kern aus hartem FC61-Stahl gefertigt wurde, ist mit 48 Lagen Edelstahl überzogen. Das verleiht der Klinge ihr einzigartiges Damastmuster. Im Rahmen der Herstellung wurde die FRIODUR Klinge zusätzlich in einer speziellen Eishärtung veredelt. Dadurch ist sie äußerst korrosionsbeständig und langlebig. Gleichzeitig ist die Klinge besonders dünn – und eignet sich damit hervorragend, um beispielsweise feine Gurken- oder Tomatenscheiben zu schneiden. Dieses japanische Gemüsemesser vereint unglaubliche Schärfe mit ästhetischem Design und fernöstlicher Eleganz. Ein Messer, das vor allem Sammler begeistern wird. Denn das Damastmuster auf der Klinge ist wie ein Unikat – kein Messer gleicht dem anderen.

Cooperation with famous ”Iron Chefs“

Chef Rokusaburo Michiba has assisted ZWILLING J.A. HENCKELS in developing the MIYABI knives. He is one of the most famous Japanese chefs, an expert on the country’s cuisine and a household name through his appearance on the widely popular series “Iron Chef”. He advised ZWILLING J.A. HENCKELS on all questions concerning the marriage of Japanese knife tradition and western taste.
 
In 2010 ZWILLING J.A. HENCKELS joined forces in North America with another „Iron Chef“. Masaharu Morimoto also made his name in Japan in the “Iron Chef” series; in the U.S. he is one of the stars of the spinoff “Iron Chef America” and has his own restaurants.
