The Demeyere Apollo stew pot is particularly optimized for the preparation of meat, fish or vegetables.
The particularly heat-conducting base with InductoBase® technology is extremely heat-conducting and supports this function. That's why you can use the pot even on a small cooking surface without risking heat loss. In addition, the stainless steel walls have an insulating effect and prevent heat loss.
Conveniently, the stew pot is made for all types of stoves, including induction. The electrochemical refinement of the surface with Silvinox® makes cleaning easy and hygienic because it prevents fingerprints and surface impurities from settling. InductoBase®
The "InductoBase®" consists of 7 layers with a heat-conducting core made of pure aluminium. This 5 mm thick layer of aluminum guarantees even heat distribution over the entire base and optimal cooking, even on a low flame. Layers 5, 6 and 7 together form TriplInduc®.
7-PlyMaterial® to the rim
"7-PlyMaterial®" is a unique technology consisting of 7 metal alloys, including stainless steel and an aluminum core. This technology is used both in the bottom and in the walls of the pans and ensures optimal heat distribution over the entire surface of the pan up to the rim, as well as perfect control of the cooking process. Thanks to TriplInduc®, induction power is increased by up to 30%.
Silvinox® surface treatment
Most Demeyere products are made from stainless steel and treated with “Silvinox®”, a unique electrochemical surface treatment process that enriches the material and removes iron and impurities from the surface. This makes the stainless steel easy to clean and resistant to fingerprints, aggressive soaps or highly acidic foods. The products remain silvery white even after years of use.
