MIYABI 4000FC Messer verkörpern die traditionsreiche japanische Messerkunst, die es zu erleben gilt. Jedes Messer folgt dem Prinzip, Schönheit und Schärfe in idealer Weise zu verbinden – so auch dieses Nakiri mit einer Klingenlänge von 170 mm. Es verfügt über eine beidseitig abgezogene Klinge und eignet sich hervorragend, um Obst und Gemüse schnell zu verarbeiten.

Die FRIODUR Messerklinge ist aus einem Spezialstahl gefertigt: Der zweifach eisgehärtete FC61-Stahl hat sich aufgrund seiner hohen Härte bewährt und ist unempfindlich gegenüber starker Beanspruchung. Zudem werden mit dem Katana-Edge-Schliff eine hohe Schärfe und Schnitthaltigkeit erzielt – wie übrigens auch bei den Klingen japanischer Schwerter, die ja ebenfalls als Meisterstücke des Messerhandwerks gelten.
Ein japanisches Kochmesser überzeugt aber nicht nur mit seiner Klinge, sondern immer auch mit seinem Griff. Das MIYABI 4000FC präsentiert sich diesbezüglich sehr edel mit einem imprägnierten, formstabilen Pakkaholzgriff, den ein Mosaikpin ziert. Griff und Messerkropf sind für eine sehr gute Handhabung achteckig geformt. So wird das Schneiden zu einem leichtgängigen und sicheren Erlebnis.

Jedes MIYABI Messer stammt aus der ZWILLING Manufaktur in Seki, Japan. Dort führen deutsche Ingenieurskunst aus Solingen und feinste japanische Handarbeit zu perfekten Ergebnissen.

Cooperation with famous ”Iron Chefs“

Chef Rokusaburo Michiba has assisted ZWILLING J.A. HENCKELS in developing the MIYABI knives. He is one of the most famous Japanese chefs, an expert on the country’s cuisine and a household name through his appearance on the widely popular series “Iron Chef”. He advised ZWILLING J.A. HENCKELS on all questions concerning the marriage of Japanese knife tradition and western taste.
 
In 2010 ZWILLING J.A. HENCKELS joined forces in North America with another „Iron Chef“. Masaharu Morimoto also made his name in Japan in the “Iron Chef” series; in the U.S. he is one of the stars of the spinoff “Iron Chef America” and has his own restaurants.
