Dank des induktionstauglichen Unterteils aus emailliertem Gusseisen kann die Tajine bereits auf dem Herd zum Anbraten eingesetzt werden, um dann, mit aufgelegtem Deckel aus Keramik, das Essen schonend und energiesparend weiter zu garen. Der kegelförmige Deckel sorgt dafür, dass die Hitze gleichmäßig gehalten und der entstehende Wasserdampf an den Inhalt abgegeben wird. Das Essen schmort im eigenen Saft und wird dadurch besonders zart und geschmacksintensiv.
