MIYABI Toishi Pro – Sharpening Like The Pros
Due to the hardness, durability and the fine Honbazuke honing our MIYABI knives should only be sharpened with professional tools.
The MIYABI Toishi Pro is fine-tuned to the MIYABI knives but is very versatile so can be used to sharpen all grades of knives professionally. MIYABI Toishi Pro is a synthetic ceramic whetstone. It is based on the Chosera series by Naniwa, which ranges among the best whetstones worldwide, and ensures the best sharpening results through the quick removal of material.
MIYABI Toishi Pro is available in various grains – from
#400 for coarse repairs, e.g. damaged edges, to #5,000 for the final finish of optimum sharpness.

MIYABI offers a basic sharpening kit (Ref: 34536-000-0) to work with the MIYABI Toishi Pro. It includes a non-slip Hinoki wood base to hold the different whetstones and a dressing stone for cleaning, smoothing and repairing the MIYABI Toishi Pro.
